GMAC Bowl Sponsors the 2008 Mobile County Spelling Bee

The 2008 Mobile County Spelling Bee, sponsored by the GMAC Bowl, was held Friday, February 1, 2008, at Bishop State’s Baker-Gaines Central Campus Auditorium from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sixty-eight elementary and middle school students from public, private, and parochial schools participated in the contest. The GMAC Bowl provided football tickets and gift bags to each local school winner, sponsored the luncheon catered by Red Brick Cafe, and provided trophies and cash rewards to the first, second, and third place winners.
